Yogi Says … For A Workers’ MP On A Workers’ Wage, Vote For Me!
.
“AT THE MOMENT, Members of Parliament earn just over £67,000 a year.  They can also claim various allowances relating to running an office, employing staff, and so on.  Indeed, unlike many people, the salary of an MP looks to be on its way up.  From April 2015, the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority recommends that pay be increased to £74,000 per annum.

I’m not opposed to people earning good money, but I think that earning between £67,000 – £74,000 is more than enough.  Is it any wonder that so many of our MPS appear to be out of touch with ordinary British working families?

Therefore, I promise that if elected, I will only take the average wage of a skilled worker.

The rest of my parliamentary salary will go towards charities and what I would term ‘good causes’.  I would also only claim legitimate expenses, the rest again going to helping others.

I will be a workers’ MP on a workers’ wage!

As a proud Tamil, some of these charities and good causes would naturally include those that seek to help preserve, protect and promote the history, heritage, identity and culture of the British people.  Indeed, as a Self-Determinist, I expect my English, Matebelan and Sikh comrades would do the same for their own folks.

This will be a principled stand for me.  I have no particular wish to enhance my lifestyle on the backs of those who vote for me.

It will be my modest attempt to set an example to others in public life.

Therefore, if you live in the constituency of Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner’d and would like to see a workers’ MP on a workers’ wage, then vote for me!

– Sockalingam ‘Yogi’ Yogalingam,
National Liberal Party prospective parliamentary candidate for Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner.

Liberal Future Debate (3) – Do Sport And Politics Mix?

FC Barcelona seem to have no problem mixing sport and politics.

Do sport and politics mix? That’s the question posed by Liberal Future’s third debate.

At first glance, one would expect the answer to be a simple yes or no. However, on reflection, the question is maybe not as clear cut as one would think.

That’s because both the establisments of various nations as well as political activists opposed to such states have become involved in mixing sport and politics to one degree nor another.

Totalitarian regiemes in particular use sport to project an image of the state itself. Usually this image is very macho, ‘urgent’ and efficient. The 1936 Summer Olympics, held in National Socialist Germany would probably be the best example of this.

However, liberal democratic states aren’t exactly behind the door when it comes to using sport to promote an ‘approved’ image. However, the techniques are slightly more subtle than those employed by totalitarians. Here, ‘economic growth’, ‘tolerance’ and ‘regeneration’ are the watchwords. One of the best examples here must be London Mayor Boris Johnston using the 2012 Summer Olympics as a homage to capitalism.

Sport has often been used as a recruiting ground for anti-establishment and extremist political groups as well.

For instance, in football some Ultras groups have definite politcal leanings. In Scotland, Celtic’s Green Brigade is an “openly political” group. It would see itself as anti-fascist, anti-racist and pro-Irish Republican. (1) Hamburg-based FC St. Pauli is another club which attracts leftist Ultras. (2, 3)

Rightist Ultras groups include Lazio’s Irriducibili who are largely a fascist grouping (4) and Real Madrid’s Ultras Sur (5) who appear to be National Socialist/Nazi in outlook.

In Britain, FC Barcelona (6) seems to be everyone’s favourite second club. But how many people who wear the famous claret and blue kit know that the club effectively mixes sport and politics with its proud promotion of all things Catalonian:

“The slogan “more than a club” expresses the commitment that Futbol Club Barcelona has maintained and still maintains beyond what belongs in the realm of sport. For many years, this commitment specifically referred to Catalan society, which for many decades of the 20th century lived under dictatorships that persecuted its language and culture. Under these circumstances, Barça always supported Catalan sentiments, and the defense of its own language and culture. It was because of this that, even though Catalan was not an official language, in 1921 the club drafted its statutes in the language of Catalonia. It was also in this era that in 1918 the club adhered to a petition for a statute of autonomy for Catalonia, which was being demanded from all sectors of the catalanista movement.”

We could go on forever and a day highlighting the ‘official and ‘unofficial’ links between politics and sport, but two more examples should suffice.  When MP Peter Hain (7) was a student, he engaged in a campaign of non-violent direct action aimed at opposing the South African cricket team’s 1970 tour of Britain. Years later, Margaret Thatcher (8) sought a British boycott of the 1980 Moscow Olympics because of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

Therefore the question remains: Do sport and politics mix? Let us know your views – simply check out the debate at Facebook/Liberal Future today!

Mass Immigration Makes Slaves Of Us All!

Globalism = Mass Immigration = Slavery

THE NATIONAL LIBERAL PARTY is opposed to mass i.e. largely unrestricted – immigration.

Our opposition is based on grounds of sustainability, a democratic deficit (in that ordinary working folks were never asked if they were in favour of our immigration policies) and the fact that immigrants are used as slave labour and tax fodder to keep the the super-rich elite in their plush lifestyles.

We’ve noted several times that mass immigration is a direct result of globalisation – itself an extension of capitalism.

This is because globalism allows for the free movement of capital and labour between various states.  This means that any industry can ‘up sticks’ and chase – and exploit – the lowest wages anywhere in the world.  At the same time some nations see massive influxes of foreign workers, who understandably want to improve their lives, but the result of their movement places enormous strains upon local services and can suppress wages.

In a nutshell, globalism forces the poorest to escape their own counties (whether they be ‘poorer’ nations within Europe, which have unlimited access, or nations outside of Europe) to seek work in, what has been termed, a ‘supposed European Eldorado’.

However, this has made slaves of us all!

Indeed, mass immigration has created a new ‘war’ between the poor of all nations.  Here, indigenous workers (the ‘old slaves’) find themselves un or under employed as capitalism indiscriminately exploits immigrant workers on an industrial scale.  These immigrants have become the ‘new slaves’

Capitalists will ‘justify’ their actions by claiming that British workers are lazy and don’t want to work anymore.  They also say that immigrants do jobs that Britons don’t want to do anymore.

This is a lie.  The truth is that many Britons will not accept the starvation wages they are offered.  Would anyone actually work for wages that are below their survival threshold?

The National Liberal party once again calls for an end to mass, inorganic and unrestricted immigration.

We have no problem with immigrants per sae (as apart from political refugees who are always welcome) who can bring much-needed skills to the workplace.  However, we accept that unlimited immigration can put an intolerable strain on our social support infrastructure.  We need to strike a healthy balance.  We have to block unrestricted immigration (which is largely EU driven) before it goes well beyond the tolerance threshold.

We need to stop such levels of immigration before we all – indigenous as well as immigrant worker – become absolute slaves to globalism!

07/05/15 – Vote For Freedom – Vote For Yogi!
.
.
SOCKALINGAM ‘YOGI’ YOGALINGAM was selected – in early January – to represent the National Liberal Party in the General Election scheduled for 7 May.  He will be standing in the outer North West London constituency of Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner. Yogi’s Election Agent is Graham Williamson.

Planning meetings have been held – the most recent was at the end of last month.  As Self-Determination for all is high on Yogi’s agenda, it was attended by various English, South Azerbaijani and Tamil Self-Determinists. Afterwards a team delivered some general NLP ‘warm-up’ leaflets in his constituency.

We’re now pleased to report that more leaflets are now available.  These relate to the election and note that Yogi will be promoting both National and Political Self-Determination.

On National Self-Determination, Yogi’s leaflet notes that this includes “an English Parliament, the preservation of the UK’s independence within Europe, and supporting the right of independence for all of the world’s stateless nations including Tamil Eelam.”

The subject of Political Self-Determination is also covered.  Here, Yogi wants to bring ‘Power To The People.’  He calls for “Direct Democracy which includes more use of Referendums, Porportional Representation, Recall (of elected politicians) and a None of the Above (NOTA) box on the ballot papers.”

The National Liberal Party is looking for volunteers to help with Yogi’s campaign.  Help us bring the message of National Freedom and Social Justice to the voters of North West London.  As the constituency has a reasonably high concentration of Tamil’s Yogi is also specifically campaigning on the right to Self-Determination for Tamils.

You can help Yogi’s campaign by delivering leaflets, posters and canvassing.  For details, simply e-mail natliberal@aol.com

You can help Yogi’s campaign by making a donation.  At the very least we need £2000, which includes £500 for his deposit.  Send a donation – no matter how big or small – via http://nationalliberal.org/the-party-organisation/donate (note SY as a reference), by cheque to NLP, c/o PO Box 4217, Hornchurch RM12 4PY, or pledge via natliberal@aol.com

General Election Update.

.

AS MANY people will be aware, the British General Election is scheduled for later this year.  Unless the House of Commons votes for an earlier date – which is thought highly unlikely – it will be held on 7 May.  Here all 650 seats will be up for grabs.

We’ve previously announced that Sockalingam ‘Yogi’ Yogalingam will be standing for the National Liberal Party in the constituency of Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner, which is situated in outer North West London.

His Election Agent has just been confirmed as Graham Williamson, who, like Yogi, is a member of the National Liberal Party’s National Council and the Organising Committee of Nations without States.  Graham is also editor of the NLPs ideological magazine, New Horizon, as well as joint-editor of the long established and well respected Fourth World Review – 4WR.

We also hope to be standing a candidate in West London as well.  Further details will be released as and when we have them.

Like Yogi, our West London candidate will be promoting the message of National Freedom and Social Justice.  At the heart of the NLPs General Election campaign will be the right of all people to National and Political Self-Determination.

At the moment, the National Liberal Party is working on its campaign infrastructure.  This includes fundraising (we need £500 for each deposit and a bare minimum of £1500 for each campaign) writing, producing and distributing ‘warm up’ leaflets and initial canvassing.

The NLPs Manifesto for the General Election is also in its initial stages and – true to our belief in true democracy – will be up for intense discussion and debate before it is officially adopted.

With the above in mind, the NLPs National Council asks all members and supporters to:

• MAKE a donation to our General Election campaign.  To stand just two candidates in London – and to run the ‘bare bones’ of an effective campaign – we need a minimum of £4000.  Anything on top of this would be a great bonus!

To help our campaign please send a donation – no matter how big or small – via http://nationalliberal.org/the-party-organisation/donate (note General Election Campaign as a reference), by cheque to NLP, c/o PO Box 4217, Hornchurch RM12 4PY, or pledge via natliberal@aol.com

• HELP with the writing, production and promotion of the National Liberal Party’s Manifesto.  If you have any policies that you feel we should include in our manifesto, please let us know, so that they can be included for discussion.

Send your ideas – as soon as possible – to natliberal@aol.com
