Publications Galore!
THE LAST YEAR has seen the National Liberal Party (NLP) launch both ideological and agitprop publications. Members and supporters of the NLP have also helped other groups produce publications. These include the longstanding Fourth World Review (4WR) and Freedom‘the Street Paper of Nations without States’.

It all started twelve months ago – in December 2011 – when we produced issue 1 of New Horizon. This is the NLPs ideological e-publication.

April of this year saw issue 1 of the Isle of Wight Voice. It was our first agitprop (or ‘street paper’) style publication. Its double-sided A4 simple style proved to be very popular. Indeed, our other agitprop publications have all been modeled on the IoWV. With this in mind, early July saw the launch of Caledonian Voice – the voice of the NLP in Scotland. And in late July issue 1 of English Voice made an appearance.

September saw issue 2 of New Horizon. A month later we returned to agitprop publications with the launch of Liberty & Nation. This paper is designed to circulate all over the British Isles. At the same time locals in Havering, Essex produced a issue 1 of a local broadsheet, St. Andrews Voice.

The next publication scheduled to roll off of the NLPs production line is issue 1 of Kent Voice. After this we’ll be producing issue 2 of all of our agitprop titles. Look out for reviews and further promotion of both our existing – and new – publications in due course.

Earlier we mentioned 4WR and Freedom. We understand that members of the editorial staff of both publications will be submitting articles (via the Liberty Wall) taking a look at what they’ve produced. Talking about the Liberty Wall, we’ve heard that English Green, National Liberal Trade Unionist and the St. George’s Committee are also considering producing e-publications. We’ll provide further news when we have it.

To get hold of FREE pdf copies of both issues of New Horizon, the Isle of Wight Voice, Caledonian Voice, English Voice, Liberty & Nation and St. Andrews Voice, simply e-mail natliberal@aol.com and ask!

EURO ELECTIONS 2014 – Self-determination for all!
National Liberals regard the European Union’s desire for an ‘ever-closer union’ as a threat to the nation-state and thus we are ‘Euro-sceptic’. Ideally, we believe it should be reorganised, largely back to a trading organisation, but if that is not possible, a new relationship between the EU and the UK is urgently required.

We also recognise that there are many national groups worldwide who do not even have their nationality recognised let alone sanctified as a state. We believe all nations have the right to self-determination i.e. decide what form of government they prefer (absorption (in a larger state), autonomy, or independence).

In many parts of the world even calling for autonomy can land you in jail or worse. It is not surprising then that many peoples have had to flee their homelands in fear. A proportion have arrived in the UK, a historical sanctuary for political refugees from the Italian Mazzini (an early liberal nationalist) onwards. The largest number, and their children, live in London and certainly know what its like to be denied an identity.

Self-determination for all!

At the forthcoming Euro elections in 2014 we intend to stand on the ticket ‘National Liberal Party – Self-determination for all! which will include candidates from London’s ‘national’ Diaspora’s. Whilst re-iterating our belief that the nation-state and not a European superstate best suits our country, the candidates, including someone representing England, will be given an opportunity to promote their national cause. If you are a member of a nation struggling to be heard contact us at natliberal@aol.com.

Donate to make this happen

In order to stand we need a deposit of £5,000 and at least another £10,000+ for a London-wide leaflet. There are many other exciting plans for the campaign but first we must raise this necessary finance!

The party is launching the campaign with £1,000 but we need your help to reach our initial target of £15,000.

Please make a donation by clicking here or by sending a cheque or, if substantial a pledge to be redeemed before the election by e-mail, to our head office at PO Box 4217, Hornchurch, Essex RM12 4PY.

National Liberals v Liberal Democrats SPOT THE DIFFERENCE!

A number of people occasionally confuse us with the Liberal Democrats. Whilst our respective liberalism shares a belief in individual rights, including civil ones, we differ somewhat in our view of the nation (unlike the Lib Dems we believe the nation-state is the best guarantee of democracy) and the economy (unlike the Lib Dems we don’t accept that globalisation is inevitable). We are liberals but not the same as the others!

To make the point we have produced a leaflet entitled ‘Spot the Difference’. Feel free to print and distribute. Download it HERE.

Issue 1 of Kent Voice coming soon!

The White Horse Flag of Kent - sometimes called the Invicta Flag. Kent will soon see issue 1 of Kent Voice ('the Voice of the National Liberal Party in Kent') which will look at various forms of animal cruelty.

REGULAR VISITORS to this site will know that we are putting a lot of time and effort into building our outreach and educational media. To date we’ve produced two issue of our ideological e-magazine New Horizon, and several ‘street’ papers – Liberty & Nation, Caledonian Voice, English Voice and the Isle of Wight Voice.

As we’ve previously mentioned, the next publication due to roll off of the NLPs production line will be Kent Voice KV. Whilst in its early stages, it looks like issue 1 of KV – ‘the Voice of the National Liberal Party in Kent’ – will examine various aspects of animal cruelty. It’s likely that these will include ritual slaughter (both Islamic and Jewish), factory farming and the disgusting practice of exporting live animals.

As soon as issue 1 of Kent Voice is available we’ll let everyone know. In the meantime, readers can pre-order their FREE pdf copy simply by e-mailing natliberal@aol.com
