The National Liberal party believes in electoral reform. We would prefer a proportional system that ensures all shades of politics are represented. The AV system that is being put to a public vote in a national referendum this year is not ideal… but it is an improvement upon the outdated First Past the Post system we use to elect MP’s. Thus we will be running a campaign in support of a YES vote at the referendum in the hope it will eventually lead to a more democratic and proportional system. See how you can help inside.
