PARTY ORGANISATION
At the head of the party is a National Council. We also employ a National Secretary who helps look after enquirers, members and Representatives (see below).
Members receive a monthly bulletin named Thought & Action (named after Mazzini’s London based journal Pensiero e azione (1858)) and occasional magazines.
Being a new party we are in the early stage of development. Most members help promote the party on their own. This could include:
• Distributing leaflets door-to-door, libraries, student halls/clubs and anywhere they believe may be seen by ‘interested’ members of the public.
• Writing letters (in a private capacity) to their local press extolling the virtues of National Liberalism and the NLP.
• Support local community groups.
Some members have applied to be a Representative. These members will do all the above but will be allowed to write as an official representative and will be advised of new members/enquiries in their area. They will also be encouraged to stand for election in local council elections (help may be obtained from Central Office in Hornchurch)
A number of members and supporters can apply to become a Unit. They will be expected to distribute literature and stand in elections, hold meetings and/or socials.
