English Green – a movement for both a pragmatic and idealistic green England. English Green part of a whole world green movement of land and people.

Greens today have become linked in the public mind as left or far-left, whether for being politically correct or for supporting socialist solutions to the world’s ills. English Green is here to fulfil an alternative need – the need for a pragmatic, idealistic and FULLY green pressure group. A prototype perhaps for an alternative Green Party – one that deals with GREEN matters and which does not shy away from “difficult” subjects…English Green talks about greenness and Englishness and how the two are linked, but we also look towards “other nation” Greens too – local and national responses but linked to a patchwork quilt of likeminded greens across the world. Imagine REAL green parties/organisations REALLY talking about green matters!
