BRITAIN BURNING

Britain in bandits hands Burning

Decency, heads bowed in mourning

Yobs of streets, torch shops of earning

Cops off streets! scary…security in hiding

–

Maligned youth, blindly bent on violence,

Attack high streets shops with vengeance.

Who to blame for this societal hemorrhage?

Do parents take the blame for this carnage?

–

Questions thousands fill the media rooms,

While law and order, swept aside by street brooms.

Britain’s underbelly gorily opened wide across the globe,

Questions numerous though reverberate for a probe.

–

Probes several, past has seen, have we learnt,

Lessons of essence! Facts need to be gleaned.

So we may never walk again this path of shame.

Come all, we have a national problem to solve.
