Self-determinist throws his hat into the ring!

Sockalingam Yogalingam

Member of the National Council and founder member of the pressure group Nations without States, Sockalingam Yogalingam, announced his candidature for the NLP in the General Election next May for the constituency of Brent Central.
.
‘Yogi’ will be promoting the wider concept of self-determination (SD) i.e. National SD which includes moving to a Federal UK, including an English Parliament, the preservation of the UK’s independence within Europe, and supporting the right of independence for the world’s stateless nations, and Political SD via Greater (Direct) Democracy which includes more use of Referendums, Proportional Representation, Recall (of elected politicians), and a None of the Above (NOTA) box on the ballot papers.
.
We urge all supporters to raise the necessary funds to support his campaign. We have an initial target of £2000. We have raised £300 so far. Can you help? Please donate to http://nationalliberal.org/the-party-organisation/donate and note SY as a reference, or pledge via natliberal@aol.com.
.
We hope to announce other candidates in due course. Interested? Activists will also be encouraged to support a nationwide ‘Make your vote count’ cross-party campaign for electoral reform where we are not standing. Watch this space!
.
Where we are standing we want to highlight our unique and modern policies and attract those who believe in transferring power away from politicians and towards the people!
