From The Liberty Wall – Nations without States – What Must Be Done (8)
.
WHAT MUST BE DONE (8): Welcome to issue 8 of What Must Be Done, the publically-available organising bulletin of Nations without States.  NwS supporters are asked to read – and more importantly – act upon the instructions detailed below:

• ELECTIONS. Nations without States will be supporting the National Liberal Party’s forthcoming campaign in the British General Election, scheduled for this coming May.  This gives us five months to raise funds for deposits and literature and canvass and leaflet the areas where the NLP will be standing.

To date, one candidate has been selected. Sockalingam ‘Yogi’ Yogalingam is a member of the National Liberal Party’s National Council and the Organising Committee of Nations without States.  He will be standing in Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner, situated in outer North West London.

As with last year’s European Elections, a major thrust of the NLPs General Election campaign will focus on the issue of Self–Determination.

As Self-Determinists, we are simply asking for ordinary people to have a real say – and genuine stake – in the way that their respective countries are run.  And we want the right to make our own laws, rules and regulations.  We all want to keep our traditions, customs and way of life. And we want the right to say how we work, who we trade with and who can come to live and work in our countries.

Will you help Yogi – and his dedicated team of front line activists – bring the message of National Freedom and Social Justice to the electorate?  Can you help him promote both National and Political Self-Determination?

To help kick off his campaign, we’re asking supporters to send a donation – no matter how big or small – donating via http://nationalliberal.org/the-party-organisation/donate (note SY as a reference), by cheque to NLP, c/o PO Box 4217, Hornchurch RM12 4PY, or pledge via natliberal@aol.com

• FACEBOOK. As a result of a technical glitch Nations without States lost a lot of its members from its Facebook group.  At the time of the glitch our Facebook group had well over 3000 supporters.  It’s now been relaunched.  If you were a member – or know someone who was – please re-join now!  You can find our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/184919468292372/

Our Facebook page plays an important part in our educatal and outreach efforts.  It allows Nations without States to promote both the general concept of Self-Determination and also highlight specific causes the world over.

Another reason to get on our Facebook page is that you’ll be the first to hear about important demonstrations, pickets, meetings and when our various publications are available.  Our Facebook page also hosts wide-ranging and lively debates.

As we noted earlier, our Facebook page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/184919468292372/ Just take a ouple of seconds out to check it out and join us.  Do it today!
