From The Liberty Wall – Nations without States – What Must Be Done (5)
WHAT MUST BE DONE (5): Welcome to issue 5 of What Must Be Done, the publically-available organising bulletin of Nations without States. NwS supporters are asked to read – and more importantly – act upon the instructions detailed below:

FOURTH WORLD REVIEW – ISSUE 155 – PDF COPY. The latest issue of Fourth World Review (4WR) is now out. It includes fairly extensive coverage of Nations without States. The five-page article – Tradition & Revolution – opens by posing the question “So what then, is NwS? Why is it so different from any other group promoting self-determination? And what strategy will it employ to achieve its aims?”

(The cover of this issue also relates to “the self-determinist pressure group, Nations without States.” Its artwork “prominently features a black flag, a symbol which NwS has used previously to represent those activists and innocent civilians who have been – and who still are being – killed, ‘disappeared’ or tortured by various oppressive regimes around the world. Like NwS, we use this artwork as a mark of respect to both honour their memory and mourn their loss.”)

Like ourselves, 4WR is opposed to Empires and Superstates and calls for the establishment of small, rooted nations – something that can be summed by the 4WR slogan, ‘Small is Beautiful!’

4WR also appears to be impressed with our determination, work rate and activism. It is also very enthuastic about our “strategy of building counter-power (‘Revolution’)” and our willingness to engage “with elements of the establishment (‘Tradition’) in an effort to advance self-determination for all nations and peoples.” However, what really excites 4WR is our focus on building different forms of counterpower, something which it has long advocated.

What Must Be Done urges all NwS supporters to get hold of issue 155 of 4WR. A FREE pdf copy is available from papworthjohn@yahoo.co.uk

NATION – ISSUE 2. There are a few copies of issue 1 of Nation – the Newsletter of Nations without States – still available. However stocks are very low and are moving fast. This issue urges self-determinists to unite and displays the flags of 30 nations who feel that they are being oppressed in one way or another.

We would encourage everyone to get hold of these remaining copies and distribute them out to fellow self-determinists either privately or publically at various demonstrations and meetings. To get hold of your copy/copies simply send a Private Message to Graham Williamson via Facebook or e-mail Nations without States: nationswstates@aol.co.uk

NATIONAL FLAGS. Would everyone send their national flag to Nations without States, c/o PO Box 4217, Hornchurch, Essex RM12 4PJ, England, UK. We wish to display them at various demonstrations and meetings. Let the rest of the world know that you exist! Ideally they should be around 5′ x 3′ (152cm x 91cm) and made out of material. Send to Nations without States, c/o PO Box 4217, Hornchurch, Essex RM12 4PJ, England, United Kingdom.
