SOCKALINGAM ‘YOGI’ YOGALINGAM was selected – in early January – to represent the National Liberal Party in the General Election scheduled for 7 May. He will be standing in the outer North West London constituency of Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner. Yogi’s Election Agent is Graham Williamson.
Planning meetings have been held – the most recent was at the end of last month. As Self-Determination for all is high on Yogi’s agenda, it was attended by various English, South Azerbaijani and Tamil Self-Determinists. Afterwards a team delivered some general NLP ‘warm-up’ leaflets in his constituency.
We’re now pleased to report that more leaflets are now available. These relate to the election and note that Yogi will be promoting both National and Political Self-Determination.
On National Self-Determination, Yogi’s leaflet notes that this includes “an English Parliament, the preservation of the UK’s independence within Europe, and supporting the right of independence for all of the world’s stateless nations including Tamil Eelam.”
The subject of Political Self-Determination is also covered. Here, Yogi wants to bring ‘Power To The People.’ He calls for “Direct Democracy which includes more use of Referendums, Porportional Representation, Recall (of elected politicians) and a None of the Above (NOTA) box on the ballot papers.”
The National Liberal Party is looking for volunteers to help with Yogi’s campaign. Help us bring the message of National Freedom and Social Justice to the voters of North West London. As the constituency has a reasonably high concentration of Tamil’s Yogi is also specifically campaigning on the right to Self-Determination for Tamils.
You can help Yogi’s campaign by delivering leaflets, posters and canvassing. For details, simply e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
