The National Liberals have formed a new Steering Committee to look into the Party’s Consitution and Policies. They will be amending the Constitution including membership rights and structures and will unveil it with a new Statement of Policies in the New Year. The SC will be comprised of Glen Maney (a professional comedian and actor and the party National Secretary), Rick Heyse (an active campaigner on green issues and NLP Policy Advisor and South West Regional Organiser), David Kerr (a Trade Union official and Community activist) and Graham Williamson (a human rights campaigner and local Community group Chairman). They will run the party until the new Constitution is unveiled.

Glen Maney said “We have attracted a great deal of interest this year and we thought it time we prepared for the next stage of our growth by revamping our Constitution and policies. Policy Papers have already been produced and we hope to launch the new documents (and a street newspaper!) at the start of 2012!”
