Issue 3 Of English Voice Is Out Today!
.
ISSUE 3 of English Voice – The Voice Of The National Liberal Party – is out today!

Once again it looks at how the Westminster Establishment discriminates against England.  It notes that Scotland, Ulster & Wales have either an assembly or parliament of their own. But England has nothing.
.
English Voice  EV  stresses that England isn’t looking for preferential treatment. And it certainly doesn’t want to be ‘treated differently from our cousins in the rest of the UK.’  All England wants is a parliament to call its own!
.
This form of self-governance would ensure that English citizens have the authority to make decisions that directly impact their lives, without outside interference.
.
It’s also a matter of fairness and equality.  If Scotland, Ulster, and Wales enjoy the privilege of having their own legislative bodies, it stands to reason that England should be granted the same right.
.
EV (which is a full colour double-sided A4 e-publication) then says that, as well as campaigning for an English parliament, it would start the process of ‘thinking about what form our parliament should take.’
.
It notes:
.
‘Should it be a carbon copy of what Scotland, Ulster & Wales have?

Should it be an English copy of Westminster with an upper & lower chamber? Or should it be something radically different?’
.
This process will start with issue 4.
.
In the meantime, EV asks NLP members & supporters in England to keep campaigning for an English parliament & to keep the faith!
