ISSUE 1 of Liberty & Nation. Issue 2 will be out soon.
ISSUE TWO of Liberty & Nation – the Voice of the National Liberal Party – will be out soon. It will look at the tragedy of homelessness and Britain’s associated housing problem.
Liberty & Nation (L&N) will note that Britain is supposed to be one of the most technologically advanced – and richest – countries in the world. Yet, it still experiences ‘poverty amongst plenty.’ This is a national disgrace!
It will look how the Con-Dem Government is punishing ordinary working families – via cuts to vital jobs and services – for the mistakes of the ‘casino capitalists’ who caused the recession in the first place. And one stark reminder of Cameron and Clegg’s twisted agenda is the sight of people who are sleeping rough every night.
L&N believes that – in the short term – radical action is needed to get people off of the streets and under shelter. This will involve co-operation between local councils, various housing charities, local tradesmen and the banks.

• LIBERTY & NATION will also be producing its first e-poster in the very near future. It will carry a strong social and economic message. As well as fighting for self-determination (via the forthcoming European Elections) it will demonstrate that the NLP is also fighting on behalf of ordinary working families on ‘bread and butter’ issues.
