National Liberal Party 2015 General Election Manifesto – Section 9 – Immigration
NATIONAL LIBERALS believe in Self-Determination for all. A central pillar of both political and national Self-Determination is the right for all people to say how they work, who they trade with and who can come to live and work in their respective countries.

Self-Determinists reject mass (as apart from a normal flow of) immigration on grounds of sustainability, a democratic deficit (in that ordinary working folks were never asked if they were in favour of immigration) and the fact that immigrants are used as slave labour (on minimum wages at best) and tax fodder to keep the the super-rich elite in their plush lifestyles.

We also believe that those who support mass immigration are supporting the aims of globalism and capitalism. Here, low wages and the erosion of long-established terms and conditions of work are the norm. Those who support mass immigration are supporting a system which promotes ‘a race to the bottom’ for both indigenous and migrant workers.

As always, the NLP wishes to encourage debate and feedback – good, bad or indifferent. Immigration

An E-Poster produced by the National Liberal Trade Unionists. As Self-Determinists we reject mass immigration as it promotes ‘a race to the bottom’ for both indigenous and migrant workers.

Illegal Immigration

• We will ensure that immigrants do not overstay on their visas.

A large part of illegal immigration consists of people entering the UK legally on a visa, and then overstaying once that visa expires. We will ensure that our immigration authorities have the means to police expired visas.

Employment Visa Sponsorship

• A company wishing to sponsor a visa for a migrant worker must ensure that the job will pay at least 75% of the national average per month.

This policy ensures that where migrant workers take a job, they are not hurting the poorest members of society by competing for jobs at the lowest tier.

We recognise that skilled immigrants do bring much-needed skills to the workplace. We also recognise that unlimited immigration will strain our social support infrastructure. We aim to strike a balance between these two needs.

Political Refugees

• We will ensure that refugees can continue to seek safe haven in the UK.

We believe that there is a huge difference between those who are genuinely oppressed in their native lands and those who are ‘economic migrants.’

Yogi Says … Fighting For Real Justice!

Alexander Solzhenitsyn (11 December 1918 – 3 August 2008) was a fierce critic of totalitarianism. The NLPs Sockalingam ‘Yogi’ Yogalingam and Jagdeesh Singh are also fighting for real justice.

THE GENERAL ELECTION is nearly upon us. As you know Jagdeesh Singh and I are standing for the National Liberal Party.  We’ll both be fighting for real justice by promoting the issue of national and political Self-Determination.

The concept of national and political Self-Determination is both hated and feared by the Establishment.  And the reason for this is because Self-Determination calls for real justice – and hands real power to the people.

The current system means that a super-rich and extremely privileged elite hold all the aces.  I want that to end.  I want to see ordinary working families have a real say in the running of their respective nations.

The Establishment will hate this.  All they want us to do is work – and thus help them to make obscene profits – and pay our taxes.  They effectively treat us as slaves.

Because Jagdeesh and I threaten their cosy little system, we fully expect to be attacked via elements of the media.

The Establishment can say what it likes about us.

As I noted earlier, we’re fighting for real justice – we’re fighting for national and political Self-Determination.  We’re fighting on behalf of those who can be arrested simply for calling for any form of self-government or even raising the flag of their own nation.  And we’re fighting on behalf of those ordinary folks who deserve to have a real say in the running of their own nation.

– Sockalingam ‘Yogi’ Yogalingam,

National Liberal Party prospective parliamentary candidate for Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner.

Jagdeesh Says … I represent a fresh, new voice!

The NLP's Jagdeesh Singh is a well-known campaigner for freedom

JAGDEESH SINGH – the National Liberal Party candidate for Ealing Southall – and his hard-working team of front-line activists continue to promote the NLPs message. An important part of his campaign is meeting and speaking to voters in this part of West London.

As Jagdeesh noted:

“Residents that I meet day to day are frustrated with the current and ongoing Labour domination. They want change. I represent a fresh, new voice and representative for Southall, with a commitment to fighting vigorously for Southall in Parliament and with central and local government. I am not part of the political elite or establishment, nor part of a big political machine like Labour. I am new, young, Southall born person, with a fresh passion for Southall diverse communities.

Born in Southall in 1970, Jagdeesh is a well-known campaigner for freedom. He opposes all forms of discrimination and supports human rights for Sikhs, Tamils, Kurds, Dualits and other communities.

He also campaigns for environmental justice and animal rights.

Locally, he believes that Southall is treated as an obscure, back-end of Ealing.”

He says that the area desperately needs a new voice:

“As a non-career politician, I was born, raised and have struggled amongst the diverse people of Southall. I have the fire and passion to fight for Southall’s needs and aspirations. Based on my track record, I will actively and demonstrable take forward the issues affecting Southall’s Sikhs, Tamils, Muslims, Dalits, South Indians, Hindus, Somalis, English, Irish and more.”

He went on to slam the attitude of Labour MP, Virendra Sharma, who has represented the area since 2007. Like many sitting MPs, he seems to treat the area as his personal fiefdom and takes it for granted that people will automatically vote for him.

“People are fed up with the Labour and their sitting MP. They want change. The MP and other political candidates, have a duty to participate in open, public dialogue and listen to the grassroot people of Southall. Problems with run down roads, pollution, litter and grime, failure to represent Sikh, Kashmiri and Tamil human rights issues, and neglect of Southall as an undesirable dump of Ealing – feature strongly in people’s conversations with me.”

National Liberal Party 2015 General Election Manifesto – Section 7 – Welfare and Social Security
NATIONAL LIBERALS believe that we should protect the most vulnerable in society – for instance, single parents, the elderly, working poor, unemployed and disabled. Thus we have a duty to provide a ‘safety net’ (in the form of welfare and social security) for those who fall on hard times.

We obviously would like to see full employment – but until that day comes, we simply cannot understand the nature of those who believe that all of those who’re in receipt of benefits are ‘shirkers’, ‘cheats’ and ‘scroungers’. We challenge them to survive – never mind live – on a pittance in modern Britain!

As always, the NLP wishes to encourage debate and feedback – good, bad or indifferent. .

Welfare and Social Security

.

Is everyone on benefits simply a ‘shirker?’

Benefit Sanctions

• We will end the benefit sanctions that are threatening to cause a humanitarian crisis.

We believe that Benefits are effectively the least a person needs to survive as is. A sanction sends the message of “you don’t deserve to live.” It is morally wrong.

We favour investigating the possibility of using coupons to enable those on benefits buy various essential items.

Pensions

• We would index link pensions to the retail price index.

Pensions – alongside all other forms of benefits – should be index linked so that those in receipt can buy essential items.

Healthcare ‘Tourism’

• We will take measures to end “healthcare tourism” paid for by the NHS.

We will introduce a scheme where non-nationals would have to have worked in Britain for two years or more and paid tax for that period before they get ‘free’ at point of entry NHS treatment (A&E excepted).
