Join the NLP’s Facebook Page

LEADING National Liberal Party member Graham Williamson has called for people with a particular interest in national and personal freedom to become a friend of the NLP on its Facebook Page(s).

He said that as a social networking site, Facebook represented a great way for members and supporters to keep in touch both with the NLP itself and each other.

“Facebook Friends of the National Liberal Party can post messages on our Wall, look at our Photos page or take part in various discussions.”

The Facebook Pages are a very new addition to the main web-site, so not many people are aware of them. Although we prefer quality over quantity, we do want to increase the number of people following us. So why not check out our pages. There is a fan page for the NLP and a FB Group (the National Liberals) to discuss the philosophy of National Liberalism too.

Mr. Williamson also commentated on the formation of the new national People’s Alliance (UK):

“These are exciting times for those of us who believe in fusing liberal and patriotic ideas in the best interests of all those in Britain. Indeed, this Armistice Day (11th November) will see the launch of the People’s Alliance (UK) – a voluntary organisation that will help Liberal Patriots co-ordinate joint campaigning initiatives.

The launch date is very fitting indeed, as Remembrance Day honours the sacrifice countless thousands of Britons made in the name of both country and the liberty of small nations. The People’s Alliance (UK) will pay homage to that noble sacrifice.

The founding parties – the National Liberal Party and the United People’s Party – will invite other sensible and inclusive parties plus Independents to join the PA (UK) in due course.”

He concluded by noting that the PA (UK) would promote the nation’s values and the use of common sense politics and rational debate to solve the many issues that have struck Britain and the British economy.
